Meet The Leadership Team
Chris works with the Sky-Futures management team to implement the company’s strategic plan and ensure there is consistent, year-on-year growth. Chris combines extensive drone experience with a strong understanding of the technical and operational complexities that enables Sky-Futures to provide a market leading solution across the global industrial markets. He is excited and passionate about the opportunities in the market to further develop the role of drones in support of inspections and surveys and places a strong emphasis on the relationships and partnerships that Sky-Futures has established with many leading organisations and companies across a range of sectors.
Nick brings significant commercial aviation operations and regulatory expertise to Sky-Futures. One of his first roles at the company was to design and implement the Sky-Futures end-to-end drone operational framework that supports our global training, VLOS and BVLOS operations. He has a background in commercial aviation as a Captain on the Airbus A320 having previously flown the Boeing 747 for British Airways. Nick is passionate about aviation and being involved in shaping the future of the unmanned sector through VLOS and BVLOS drone operations. Nick’s combined manned and unmanned aviation experience has been instrumental in establishing a culture of safety and operational excellence that has helped Sky-Futures be recognised as a leading, global brand in this sector.
Nick is responsible for the delivery of Sky-Futures global operations. He has delivered drone-based inspection projects in 27+ countries and manages all the in-house drone inspection teams. Collectively, Sky-Futures teams hold 11,500+ hours of flying experience. In this role, Nick is responsible for engaging with Sky-Futures’ clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor Sky-Futures response accordingly, as well as dealing with all relevant National Aviation Authorities and agencies that may have a vested interest in our services. Nick owns the implementation and delivery of Sky-Futures operational systems, ensuring that procedures are robust, even in the most challenging environments thereby ensuring that safety underpins everything that Sky-Futures do.
TRAINING & OPERATIONAL STANDARDS DIRECTOR
Frankie leads on the delivery of training and the implementation of operational standards for all Sky-Futures pilots and inspectors. He brings a wealth of drone-based experience in the UK and abroad, both civilian and military. Heading up the Sky-Futures Training Academy, Frankie has been instrumental in building a reputation that has established Sky-Futures as a leading provider of drone training to the Emergency Services, government agencies and industry. He ensures that the Sky-Futures Training Academy leads the way in providing the most challenging and rewarding drone programs and assessment. Frankie has also taken lead with the work that Sky-Futures is doing in the counter drone sector.
